My brother in the same skin as me
is telling me how I should be.
But who is he to decide for me?
After all, he's just like me.
My sister says I don't treat her right
and it's enough to make her fight.
And who am I to say she's not right?
So I will join her in her fight.
Our father says that we're all bad
but I think that he's gone mad.
Wasn't he once just as bad?
But he forgot once he went mad.
Congratulations Sculpture of Man, you have been chosen as the recipient of our prestigious poetry award. Please come to London on the 29th June 2013 to accept your award. We will be sending you a link to a downloadable consent form which will need to be signed by your teacher and parent/guardian. In addition, for a payment of only £1.50 we will send your school a laminated certificate on high quality textured cardboard to be awarded to you in assembly. Further to this, you have been entered into the national finals, the prize for which is a year's supply of fruit pastilles and crayons. We are obliged to inform you that the crayons are not edible.
ReplyDeleteYou've got a Siamese twin? I never knew. Where on the body are you joined? Is it at the feet? Do you wear the same shoes? Sorry to hear your father has gone mad, I hope that the appropriate authorities are taking good care of him and that he is well on the road to recovery.
